Keir Starmer and Rebecca Long-Bailey

• LABOUR leader Sir Keir Starmer sacked Rebecca Long-Bailey from his shadow cabinet.

The given reason is that Ms Long Bailey tweeted approval of actress Maxine Peake’s interview in The Independent which made one reference to Israeli training of US police forces.

The Jewish Leadership Council alleged that Ms Long-Bailey promoted an “anti-Semitic conspiracy theory”: within the hour Sir Keir sacked Ms Long-Bailey for doing that.

The truth is that the Israeli Tactical School (founded in the US) whose instructors include the “Israeli Secret Service”, train police officers to incapacitate people.

They illustrate their training on their web page with an image of a knee on the neck. (See link from Israeli Tactical, showing knee on the neck tactic: https://israelitacticalkravmaga.com/law-enforcement/).

It is well-documented that thousands of law enforcement officials from all over the US have trained in Israel with Israeli police, military, and the Shin Bet (“secret services”); further, the New York Police Department has an office in Israel.

Sir Keir denies the truth by calling it a conspiracy theory. Donald Trump denies reality by calling it fake news.

The charge of anti-Semitism has become so inflated that almost anything can be an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory. It was used against Ms Long-Bailey to get rid of the last link with Jeremy Corbyn.

Sir Keir said: “I’ve made it my first priority to tackle anti-Semitism”. Not institutionalised racism, the hostile environment, deaths in custody, Grenfell, Covid, climate change, or ending arms sales to the Saudis who have killed thousands of Yemeni children.
